SINGAPORE Press Holdings (SPH) and its subsidiary, SPH Magazines, scored big wins at this year's Magnum Opus Awards.

Two of SPH's contract publishing titles, Petir and Voices, garnered two awards - Honorable Mentions for Best Signed Editorial or Essay (Petir) and Best Feature Article (Voices).

These titles are published by SPH subsidiary Focus Publishing. Petir is published for the People's Action Party and Voices for the Central Singapore Community Development Council.

SPH Magazines bagged a total of four awards, including the Gold Award for Best Overall Editorial for the magazine SilverKris and the Gold Award for Most Improved Design for NSman.

The Magnum Opus Awards is organised by US-based ContentWise in conjunction with the Missouri School of Journalism. Professors from the journalism school and custom-publishing professionals who specialise in particular content or design areas were the judges.
