SPH Magazines and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) have teamed up to bring a fresh new look to the MPA's quarterly trade publication Singapore Nautilus, the first revamped issue of which was launched yesterday.

SPH Magazines has been appointed the publishing agent of the magazine, which provides insights and comprehensive information on the local maritime industry, including coverage on maritime manpower, technology and environmental issues in Singapore and around the world. It serves as a valuable communication tool for MPA, providing a useful resource for global industry players and at the same time reinforcing Singapore's position as an innovative and dynamic hub port and international maritime centre.

In reflecting this same innovation and dynamism, SPH Magazines created a bold, new masthead and energised layouts with modern vibrancy and creative use of imagery and typography. "We wanted to take Singapore Nautilus to the next level, with an updated look that is engaging and forward-looking," said SPH Magazines senior editor Azreen Noor.

Singapore Nautilus has a circulation of 7,000 and reaches a wide range of companies involved in shipping, port services, offshore and marine engineering, shipping finance and marine insurance as well as educational institutions and governing bodies around the world.

"The recent addition of Singapore Nautilus to our portfolio is testament to the company's capabilities and versatility in custom publishing, and reinforces our standing as the publisher of choice in the region," said SPH Magazines managing director Dennis Pua.
