Correction :
THE report, "Ad Planet's Tan wins SPH event" (The Sunday Times, July 5), said that Mr Adrian Tan, winner of the Singapore Press Holdings Advertising Golf Challenge, had a golf handicap of 14. The information was provided by tournament organiser Eric Teoh, who has since clarified that the event used the Double Peoria System to calculate participants' handicaps and Mr Tan was given a handicap of 14. His official handicap, according to the USGA handicapping system, is 5.8. We are sorry for the error.

The 14-handicapper {SEE CORRECTION ABOVE} scored 38 stableford points to clinch the green jacket and trophy.

Friday's event drew 220 participants, including SPH's editor-in-chief (English and Malay Newspapers Division) Patrick Daniel.

Motorviva Minerva's Foo Jong Kim (handicap 13) was second on countback from Fujitsu Asia's Chng Teo Hye (16). Both had 37 points.
