THE contract to publish BiZQ (Business Quotient), the official publication of the Singapore Business Federation, has once again been clinched by Singapore Press Holdings Magazines (SPH Magazines).

SPH Magazines has been the sole publishing agent for BiZQ since the magazine's inception in July 2004, and the new contract will see its Custom Publishing unit producing BiZQ for the next three years.

In total, the unit prints 22 magazines, including BiZQ, Chinese Enterprise and Home Team NS.

Mr Dennis Pua, managing director of SPH Magazines, said: 'Despite strong competition from other publishers during the tender, we are very pleased to be awarded the publishing contract for a new term.

'It's certainly a vote of confidence in SPH Magazines' ability to produce quality publications, and shows satisfaction at our level of service.'

Targeted primarily at chief executive officers, managing directors and entrepreneurs, BiZQ typically includes information on business opportunities and upcoming Singapore Business Federation's events or initiatives.

The quarterly magazine has a print run of 20,000.

The April-June 2007 issue of BiZQ won a Gold for Best Cover and an Honourable Mention in the Best Single Issue category of the Tabbie Awards last year. The awards recognise editorial and creative excellence in trade association and business publications.

'Gaining recognition through these awards is a validation of our ongoing commitment to produce sterling content and engaging designs,' said Ms Joanna Lee-Miller, group editor of SPH Magazines.
