Announcement Pursuant To Rule 704(7), Listing Manual

Description
SPH wishes to announce that Mr Arthur Seet Keong Hoe will be relinquishng his post of Executive Vice-President, Finance, with effect from 1 September 2005.

He will be re-designated as Executive Vice-President, Special Duties, and continue as Chairman of SPH Magazines Pte Ltd. His new responsibilities include exploring growth opportunities for the Company.

Mr Tony Mallek will take over as Head of Finance Division.
