Petition to wind up SPH Mediaworks
Jan 11, 2005
The Straits Times
SPH MediaWorks, which stopped operating on Jan 1, petitioned the High Court yesterday for an order for the company to be wound up.
Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), which owns the firm, said the High Court has appointed KMPG partners Michael Ng, Peter Chay and Tham Sai Choy as provisional liquidators of SPH MediaWorks, pending the hearing of the petition.
SPH also said winding up the unit is not expected to have any material impact on its net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for the year ending Aug 31 this year.
