THE Business Times' weekend edition will come in a handier size - half the size of the old one - from tomorrow.

It will also introduce new features, such as a column by chief executive officers and another by Singaporeans working overseas. And its lifestyle section is in a handy pullout format that contains favourites such as Dining, Shopping, Travel, Motoring and Sport, and tips on personal finance.

BT editor Alvin Tay said of the new edition's content: 'We recognise the needs of our readers who enjoy the finer things in life while keeping their finger on the pulse of the economy.'

The new BT Weekend, redesigned to make it easier to read and navigate, will be launched at a roadshow at CityLink Mall from 11am to 8pm tomorrow and on Sunday.

The first 3,000 new BT Weekend readers who sign up for a $56, 12-month subscription between tomorrow and Oct 31 will be eligible for a sure-win lucky draw. Prizes include holidays to the Angsana Velavaru in the Maldives, Ball luxury watches and Sony Ericsson mobile phones.

On each weekend till Oct 4, retail promotions, such as discounts on Skyfitness gym packages and special prices on the Zinc PDA phone, will also be on offer.
