IT'S about time women here have an English-language watch magazine.

The latest title by SPH Magazines, 24:7, offers just that, tracking worldwide trends in watch-making techniques and designs.

Its editor, Ms Ong Ting Nee, said, 'We have unparalleled expertise in translating watch trends, news, views and know-how into something engaging and visually exciting. Our aim is to make every issue a collectible!'

Sincere Watch chief executive Ong Ban welcomed the launch of 24:7, saying that women's interest in the area has 'significantly increased' and that women were looking beyond aesthetics in their purchasing decisions.

'It's excellent that a women's watch magazine is here to cater to this growing market, which was traditionally predominantly male.'

The inaugural issue of this annual title is priced at $8. The magazine is now available at selected leading bookstores here and distributed at hotels, country clubs, Silver Kris Lounges, among other places.
