SINGAPORE'S homegrown search and directory engine, Rednano.sg, is marking its first anniversary with a redesign of its website and a new advertising network.

From today, visitors to www.rednano.sg will be greeted by a new home page. Icons of each section are now on the front page, enabling visitors to have quicker and easier access to the specific content they want.

Red letter day: Rednano.sg hopes to help advertisers better engage with online customers

The redesign also draws users' attention to the site's special offerings, such as past news stories from the archives of Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) 17 newspaper titles.

Paul Jansen, CEO of SPH Search, the company behind Rednano.sg, said: 'The changes were made with the feedback from users and advertisers over the past year in mind.'

'The content, particularly the directory, is better highlighted and more easily accessible. And there are considerably more options for advertisers to catch users' attention and service their needs.'

One thing that advertisers can look forward to is the launch of the AdSMART Network - a network of high-value websites that will offer them an opportunity to reach a premium audience.

'This network will be of great benefit to those with branding messages who had previously been restricted to just online banner advertising in a few quality sites,' said Mr Jansen.

'Now they can also reach clearly defined quality audiences with search marketing keyword purchases, which is demonstrating worldwide a high return on investment.'

Rednano.sg also hopes to help advertisers better engage with online customers through the introduction of a special 'Rednano Anniversary Package'.

This affordable package will allow advertisers to improve their company listings with logos, website addresses, branches and a 'click-to-call service'.
